Maria Herrero Tejada’s curatorial practice is an amalgamation of the different political and cultural settings that have shaped her queer being throughout her life. Their curatorial process aims to engage politically and socially with artists and their communities, breaking down inaccessibility of the arts.
Born (1999) in Barcelona, Catalonia, schooled in Dublin and based in London. Currently working at TINA gallery, London. Graduated in 2025 from MA Curating and Collections from Chelsea College of Arts (UAL). Projects include exhibitions and public programming in collaboration with artists such as Francis Alÿs, Ben Rivers, Rachel Pimm and more, as well as instutions such as Tate, Chelsea Space, PEER gallery and more.
